VoIP

“Mr. Watson, come here. I want to see you” were the words spoken by Alexander Graham Bell during the first telephone call in history. His words were quite difficult to understand and they were only transmitted over several meters. However, it was the first step towards technology that is absolutely crucial today.

Voice

Voice transmission – i.e. modern telephony – represented one of the greatest technological innovations of the 19th century. However, not until the mid-20th century was the technology deployed on a mass scale. Nevertheless, the entire network was troubled by costly long-distance calls, easy wire-tapping, difficult scalability, incompatible national networks, and many other imperfections that could only be resolved after the transition from analog to digital and later from digital to VoIP.

Over IP

VoIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol. It is a standard solution for business clients that need to combine telephone services, Internet connection, and even fax services within a single solution.
