What is NIS2?

The NIS2 Cyber Security Directive is a European legislative document that sets out the rules and requirements for cyber security in all EU countries. The obligation will also apply to subsidiaries and suppliers of regulated entities. What this means in practice is that entities affected by NIS2 will have to implement an information and cyber security management system.

Who will be concerned?

This means that the entities affected by NIS2 will have to implement an information and cyber security management system. NIS2 will affect more than 6,000 companies in the Czech Republic. The directive will affect 18 sectors, specifically entities providing one of the 60 listed services. The obligation will also apply to subsidiaries and suppliers of regulated entities.
